[Kwg-list] Count down to the Harambee

Hello Everyone,

Please find attached the minutes from the last meeting.  This is also a
reminder that this Saturday is the Harambee.  Please send out reminders to
all of your friends, family and colleagues.  It would be great if they could
reserve tickets on-line or if you could email me so that it makes plans for
food preparation easier. We'd like to start setting up at the church
starting around 3pm so if you can try to make it for this time, that would
be helpful.

A few details that have transpired since our meeting,... I negotiated a deal
to have most of the food prepared by an East African Restaurant called Hawar
Weyne Restaurant (was featured on the Restaurant Makeover show this past
Monday night) so this will take some of the pressure off of the cooking
party. However we will need some help making drinks, setting tables, etc.
which can be delegated before the event on Saturday.

The other major change is that "Soul Influence" had to cancel and we
therefore do not have the live entertainment that we had planned on at the
meeting.  At this late notice it has been a challenge to find a replacement
that will do it free of charge.  If you know of anyone who is gifted in this
area, please invite them to come.
