[Kwg-list] For real this time: KWG/McMaster Charity Ball - Feb 15th

Okay - third time's the charm. I promise not to send any more emails from
work. Too many distractions!  Please see the email below. ALL the
information should be correct. Let me know if you can make it - we'd love to
see you out to support the KWG.  I've also added the tentative schedule of
the night.

As most of you may be aware by now, the School of Rehabilitation Sciences at
McMaster University has chosen the Kenya Working Group as the recipient
charity of their annual charity ball. This is great news for us, not only
for fundraising, but also as raising awareness on the issues in Kenya,
including their current crisis.

Julie will be giving a presentation and accepting the grand cheque at the
end of the night.  A few members of the KWG will be there, but we would like
to have a whole table or more for support!!  The event details are as
follows:
Date: Friday, February 15th!
Location: Michaelangelo's Banquet Hall, Hamilton
Time: doors open at 6
Cost: $40/person
Tentative schedule: cocktail bar/networking and photo presentation of KWG
volunteers (6:30-7); presentation by Julie Hard (7:15); dinner (7:30);
silent auction and raffle prizes (8:00) and dancing (9pm - close)

If you would like to attend, please email me as soon as possible and we can
hold some tickets aside for you. The night should turn out to be a fantastic
evening. There will be some great silent auction prizes including photos
from our photo exhibit earlier this year.

Again, please email me if you're interested in purchasing tickets for the
evening. I've attached a menu to this email, so also please let me know if
you would like the chicken or vegetarian option for dinner. If you have any
questions, please email me.
