[Kwg-list] Social Event June 23rd

Hello Everyone,

Hope you are enjoying the Kenya-like weather that we have been
experiencing in Southern Ontario.  I would like to invite everyone to a
social evening planned for June 23rd at 7pm at Milestones on John Street
(Toronto) near Richmond.  The purpose of the event is to re-group after
some time of stillness within the Kenya Working Group.

It will be a great opportunity for everyone to meet Mr. Okidi, the
coordinator of the disability project that we have been working with in
Nyanza province of Kenya.  He has been the supervisor for several McMaster
students during their final placement and has hosted other members of the
KWG in his home, sharing with them his expertise in the management of
disabilities in his community.

Joining us at the social will be the students who are scheduled to travel
to Kenya this August as well as a former Kenyan student of Mr. Okidi's
visiting from Minnesota.

Additionally, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome back Neil
Drimer who has been travelling for the past three months.  His travels
included Kenya where he was able to visit with AMREF and look at projects
of interest to the KWG.
